I am NOT a thinspo blog, nor will I ever be. I promote healthy eating and active lifestyles. That includes eating pizza, cheeseburgers, cookies, and brownies when it fits into my day. I post recipes, tips, pictures, and the occasional funny blurb! I love baking and running (not always in that order)! Ask me questions! Follow me! I appreciate you all!

Weekly review

LAST WEEK

Monday: I took the day off because I ran 7 miles Saturday

Tuesday: I ran 4 miles.

Wednesday: I ran 4 miles again. I was supposed to do 6 but it was way too damn hot.

Thursday: I took the day off. I don’t remember why, but I did lol

Friday: I ran another 4 miles. I was supposed to do 3, but since I only did 4 on Wednesday, I decided to do an extra mile to make up some of that mileage. When I finished my run at 8:40 pm it was 88 degrees,… FML

Saturday: I went to the gym. I did 6 miles on the elliptical and some ab work.

Sunday (Today): I ran 8 miles without stopping! I usually walk every 2-3 miles for about 30 seconds because I’ve found it keeps my pace lower but I felt awesome my whole run today so I just ran all 8!

Total Mileage for the week (running only): 20

NEXT WEEK:

Monday: REST

Tuesday: 5 miles

Wednesday: Gym/Elliptical/Calisthenics/Lifting/All or some of the above

Thursday: 4 miles

Friday: 3 miles

Saturday/Sunday: 9-10 miles/REST whichever day I don’t run.

Total expected mileage: 21-22 miles depending on the long run.

Running Plan for the week

Until my half marathon on July 14th, I’m gonna post a running plan for the week as I train.

Today was my long run day to finish this week (my weeks are Monday-Sunday since I can only do long runs on Saturday or Sunday) and I did 7.25 miles in 1:15:33. Not too bad. My goal is to finish my half in 2:10-2:11 (average 10 minute mile for 13.1 miles).

This week my plan is:

Monday: REST

Tuesday: 4 miles

Wednesday: 6 miles

Thursday: Gym (elliptical/abs/ something mundane and easy that burns calories) or Rest day depending on how I feel.

Friday: 3 miles

Saturday or Sunday: 8 miles and REST whichever day I don’t run.

So a total of 21 miles schedule for next week. Last week I logged 19.75 miles. yay!
